What you'll be doing
- You will design, develop, and improve our software systems using C++ within a Linux environment.
- You will build and maintain specialized tools designed to process, store, and analyze critical financial data, including quotes and orders.
- You will collaborate directly with our quantitative research analysts and fellow engineers to deliver high-impact software solutions.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
- Proven professional experience developing with C++ on Linux platforms.
- A track record of academic excellence and a sharp ability to solve difficult problems.
- Familiarity with shell scripting, such as Bash, Perl, or CSH, is highly valued.
- Experience working with relational databases like SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle is a significant plus.
- Fluency in English to ensure clear communication with your team.
