Business Systems Analyst, IAM at Varomoney

Varo is working to change the banking industry by making financial management accessible and intuitive for everyone. As the first mobile-centric national bank in the country, we provide fee-free bank accounts, high-yield savings, and automated financial tools that prioritize our customers. We are currently looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team on a full-time basis. This role is essential to our mission, as you will oversee our identity and access management framework while helping us scale our security infrastructure in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain our identity governance and certification programs to ensure they align with both business objectives and information security standards.
• Evaluate our current identity maturity level and build a roadmap that supports our growing base of customers and partners while meeting strict regulatory expectations.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to test and implement advanced technologies, including IAM, PAM, and CASB solutions, while ensuring robust RBAC and authentication protocols are in place.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of experience in information technology, with a specific focus on identity and access management.
• Deep technical expertise in Okta, including Okta Identity Governance and the creation of complex Okta Workflows.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, federation, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication.
• Proven ability to present governance and certification status reports to senior management and board-level committees.
• Professional experience working within financial institutions or fintech companies is highly preferred.
• Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP-ISSMP, CISM, or CCSP, are considered a significant asset.
