Business Line Manager at Preligens

We are Preligens, a French company founded in 2016 by two engineers with a shared passion for aerospace, astrophysics, and artificial intelligence. Our team of more than 250 people, two-thirds of whom work in R&D, builds AI-powered software that automatically processes massive volumes of data from satellite imagery, infrared, electromagnetic signals, social media, and press sources. When the system detects an abnormal situation at a strategic site, it alerts intelligence officers in real time. We are now looking for a Business Line Manager to lead our core satellite-imagery product line and help shape the next generation of these solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Build deep market knowledge through customer conversations, desk research, and participation in trade shows, then translate those insights into a clear product vision and roadmap that balances strategic client needs with technical feasibility.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of AI engineers, software developers, geopolitical experts, and intelligence specialists to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and distinctive analysis tools while arbitrating priorities and ensuring the product remains robust and up to date.
• Act as the recognized internal reference for your business line, represent Preligens to key clients and prospects at events, manage direct reports through objective setting and career development, and contribute to company-wide strategic discussions.

What you'll bring

• At least eight years of professional experience, including prior roles such as Business Unit lead, Head of Product, Consultant, Architect, or Product Manager in a technology environment, plus demonstrated people-management experience.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, analytical thinking, and the ability to synthesize complex information for both written and oral communication.
• Professional fluency in French and English, along with the resilience and drive needed to tackle ambitious technical and market challenges.
• The mandatory ability to obtain a French defense security clearance.
