We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify reporting needs and convert them into clear, functional requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding clinical workflows and medical coding methodologies.
- Refine and optimize our current reporting suite to enhance both data accuracy and the effectiveness of our visualizations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in healthcare data analytics, health informatics, or financial forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in analyzing large datasets, specifically involving medical, pharmacy, provider, and eligibility claims data at the code level.
- Solid understanding of cloud database architecture, enterprise data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, with additional experience in Python or R being a significant advantage.
- Expertise in BI visualization tools, with a preference for Tableau or Power BI.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, or Health Informatics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences.
What we offer
The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000. In addition to competitive pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
