We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis. Zeta is a next-generation banking technology company founded in 2015 by Bhavin Turakhia and Ramki Gaddipati. We empower banks and fintechs to build modern financial products through our flagship platform, Zeta Tachyon, which is the industry’s first cloud-native, API-enabled stack for issuance, processing, and core banking. With over 1,700 employees and more than 15 million cards issued globally, we are backed by major investors like SoftBank and Mastercard. In this role, you will play a vital part in organizing and reporting complex data to help our stakeholders make informed, strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build high-performance analytical systems by developing efficient ETL processes using Python and advanced SQL queries across various database types.
- Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards and documentation to track key business metrics and communicate actionable insights to internal teams.
- Partner with our Engineering, Product, and Operations departments to conceptualize, prototype, and implement data solutions that directly influence our product roadmap and strategic direction.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Deep technical proficiency in SQL and Python, alongside hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Metabase.
- Fundamental knowledge of data modeling, ETL workflows, and statistical or machine learning techniques, including clustering, linear regression, and decision trees.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a cross-functional environment to deliver end-to-end solutions.
