The opportunity
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our rapidly expanding team. As we scale to meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients, you will play a vital role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will work closely with our Data Engineering and Data Science groups to bridge the gap between complex technical data and strategic business decisions. This is an executional role where you will have the chance to shape our business intelligence capabilities while supporting stakeholders across the entire company.
A day in the life
- You will design and build robust data models using SQL, ensuring that our data remains clear, reusable, and accurate.
- You will create intuitive dashboards and reports that track key performance metrics, helping our teams make informed decisions based on real-time data.
- You will perform ad-hoc analyses to investigate important business questions and collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their specific reporting requirements.
Who you are
You are a mid-level professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong grasp of data storytelling. You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you are comfortable translating business needs into high-quality technical output.
Your background includes:
- Intermediate-to-advanced SQL proficiency, including experience with window functions and common table expressions.
- A solid understanding of statistics, including hypothesis testing and experiment design.
- Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Domo.
- A knack for choosing the right visualization techniques to bring complex insights to life.
- Ideally, you have experience with dbt for data transformation, version control via Git, and working within the healthcare industry.
- You are fluent in English and ready to contribute in a high-growth, remote-first environment.
