We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Group IT team on a full-time, hybrid basis in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving operational efficiency and process improvement for our WiseEnergy Commercial and ESG team. By centralizing data and enhancing our reporting capabilities through platforms like Power BI and our new Contract Lifecycle Management system, you will directly support our mission to generate a more sustainable future by leading the transition to clean energy. NextEnergy Group is a global leader in the solar sector, managing everything from investment and asset management to project development and venture capital, all while maintaining a strong commitment to global sustainability through our charitable foundation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to centralize commercial datasets, ensuring that all data is consistent and aligned with our core business processes.
- Design and implement robust Power BI reports that support informed decision-making and align with our established IT frameworks.
- Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements by leveraging deep data analysis and reporting insights.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in a BI Analyst or similar data-focused role.
- Strong technical proficiency in SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and database querying using TSQL or SQL Server.
- A solid understanding of data governance, data quality best practices, and business process mapping.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data sets clearly to various stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing your own workload.
- Relevant certifications in data analytics or BI tools are considered a significant advantage.
