The role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who thrives on transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable insights. While our headquarters is in Chicago, you can work from anywhere within the continental United States, though you should expect occasional travel to our home office. You will play a vital role in our growth by building sophisticated analytics solutions that empower our business units to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Core responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-impact dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of various internal business units.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide clear recommendations that support our strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to identify their reporting requirements and ensure our data management practices remain accurate and consistent.

Skills and experience

• Three to five years of professional experience in a business intelligence or data analysis capacity.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data warehousing, including star schema and semantic layer modeling.
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or QuickSight. Please be prepared to share a sample of your work, such as a dashboard or report.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead training sessions and present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
