Role at a glance
This is a full-time, mid-level position focused on transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. While our home base is in Chicago, this role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the continental United States. Please note that you will be expected to travel to our Chicago office occasionally to collaborate with the team in person.
Your impact
- Design, build, and refine high-impact dashboards and reports that empower our various business units to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate their needs into effective data solutions.
- Act as a steward for our data by ensuring high standards of accuracy and integrity while teaching others how to interpret and utilize our BI tools effectively.
What you'll need
- Three to five years of experience in a BI analyst role or a similar data-focused position.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
- Deep proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts like star schemas and semantic layers.
- Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or QuickSight. Please be prepared to share a sample of your work, such as a dashboard or report.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English.
