DealMaker is a rapidly growing fintech company dedicated to modernizing the capital markets ecosystem. We provide an end-to-end digital platform that helps founders and CEOs raise capital from their own communities, having already facilitated over $2B across more than 1,000 successful campaigns for high-profile clients. We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our hybrid team in Canada and help us continue transforming how the world raises capital.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential target accounts within our key verticals.
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns using email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Secure and qualify meetings with executive-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account strategies and manage sales plays.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and insights within our HubSpot CRM.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
- Stay current on market trends and effectively articulate our unique value proposition.
Must-haves
- Previous experience in a BDR or SDR role within the SaaS or fintech sectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- A genuine interest in capital markets, venture funding, or crowdfunding.
- A high level of coachability, curiosity, and a bias toward taking action.
- Resilience in the face of rejection and a deep drive to exceed expectations.
