The role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a quota-driven position where you will serve as a leader and role model for our Talent Team. You will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and onboarding high-profile talent, helping them connect with their fan bases while generating new revenue streams or supporting charitable causes. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the entertainment industry who can navigate complex relationships with agents, managers, and publicists with ease.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach and prospecting to closing deals with top-tier talent across sports, music, and entertainment.
  • Leverage your professional network and our internal sales processes to secure partnerships, while collaborating with your peers to help the team achieve major wins.
  • Partner with talent representatives, including publicists and managers, to onboard their clients and educate them on the unique value proposition of the Cameo platform.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in quota-driven sales within the tech or entertainment sectors, or a strong background in marketing and social media.
  • A proven track record of professional success, such as exceeding targets or earning promotions.
  • A deep understanding of the entertainment landscape, including experience identifying emerging talent and working with agencies or management firms.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading with humility, a lack of ego, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Proficiency in English and a genuine passion for social media and internet culture.
  • Bonus points for experience with Salesforce CRM or a degree related to the entertainment industry.
