We are looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative to join our team in a full-time capacity. At Brightspot, we provide a world-class content management system designed to help organizations work smarter and faster. Our delivery team has decades of experience supporting digital transformation for major media organizations, eCommerce brands, and corporate enterprises. We are looking for someone who is eager to help us grow by identifying new opportunities and connecting with key decision-makers who can benefit from our flexible CMS technology.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential business opportunities through active prospecting and market research within the B2B sector.
- Engage with prospects using a mix of email, cold calling, and social networking to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Work alongside our sales and marketing departments to ensure that qualified leads are transitioned smoothly and that our outreach strategies remain competitive.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in sales and a passion for technology. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within the SaaS industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business or Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, which allow you to build genuine rapport with potential clients.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset with a proven ability to manage your time effectively while hitting ambitious targets.
- An interest in or knowledge of content-heavy industries like publishing or media is considered a significant advantage.
