We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team on a full-time remote basis. At Panoptyc we use visual AI and manual reviewers to help retailers detect theft across more than 15,000 U.S. markets, serving both Fortune 500 companies and local businesses. In this role you will drive our outbound growth by reaching decision-makers in retail and grocery, building a steady flow of qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social selling to generate qualified discovery meetings.
  • Research and map target accounts in retail, grocery, and multi-location sectors, then personalize outreach while maintaining daily activity targets.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls, qualify prospects on pain points, budget, and authority, and hand off detailed notes to Account Executives so every interaction is accurately logged in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, or outbound sales, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed activity metrics and qualified-meeting quotas, along with experience navigating complex organizations to reach decision-makers.
  • Comfort making at least sixty cold calls per day, strong HubSpot hygiene, and familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach or Salesloft, and ZoomInfo.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a highly organized approach to territory management, and the ability to handle rejection while staying motivated.
  • Availability for quarterly travel to U.S.-based conferences and on-site client meetings, roughly three trips per year.

What we offer

  • A base salary of up to twenty USD per hour plus performance bonus.
