The role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team in Japan on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a junior-level position designed for someone eager to build a strong foundation in software sales. You will serve as the first point of contact for many of our prospective customers, acting as a product expert who helps identify their unique challenges and connects them with the right solutions.
Core responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients through email, phone, and social media channels.
- Work in lockstep with our sales team to qualify meetings and maintain a robust, healthy pipeline of prospects.
- Manage and analyze accounts to develop expansion strategies and ensure our CRM data remains accurate for future growth.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward professional development. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in sales, ideally within the SaaS industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- A proven ability to build trust and lasting relationships with customers.
