The role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a junior-level position that offers a unique opportunity to serve as our first outbound BDR in the APAC region. You will play a foundational role in shaping our outbound sales strategy, setting best practices, and driving our expansion into new markets.
Core responsibilities
- Identify and engage small businesses within the consumer goods sector through targeted research and outreach.
- Develop personalized communication strategies across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video to connect with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to build and maintain a high-quality pipeline while documenting all activities in Salesforce.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication skills and a resilient, self-starting attitude. We value candidates who are organized, collaborative, and genuinely curious about solving customer challenges.
- At least 6 months of experience in an SDR or BDR role within the SaaS industry is preferred, though we also welcome those with tangential sales experience such as retail, recruiting, or fundraising.
- Comfortable performing cold calls and conducting phone-based outreach.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce.
- Experience using sales enablement tools such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Qualified, ZoomInfo, and Nooks.
- Fluency in English.
