The opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to focus on the retail sector. In this role, you will be a vital part of our New Business Development team, where you will source net new partnerships and help expand our reach. You will have the chance to work alongside a talented group of professionals as you prospect and build meaningful relationships with some of the most prominent retailers in North America. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers a unique chance to shape the future of the digital shopping experience.
A day in the life
- Drive New Partnerships: You will use creative strategies to prospect and engage potential partners, managing the early stages of the sales funnel and coordinating meetings between prospective clients and our internal executives.
- Manage the Sales Pipeline: You will take ownership of your prospect list, identifying new opportunities and refining our internal processes to improve success rates while supporting the team with research before important meetings.
- Develop Industry Expertise: You will stay current on our evolving product offerings and maintain a deep understanding of market data to provide the team with the insights needed to succeed.
Who you are
You are a motivated professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in prospecting, ideally within the tech or retail industries. You are a pioneer at heart, meaning you feel comfortable navigating ambiguity and enjoy the challenge of building something from the ground up. You are an effective and efficient communicator who knows how to engage cold contacts with a creative touch. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be comfortable working with market data and sales funnels to reach your goals.
