The role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position based in the USA, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our presence within the aircraft interiors market. You will report directly to our Product Manager in the UK and work closely with our international sales team to execute global strategies. This role requires significant travel within the United States, regular trips to the UK, and the potential for global travel to engage with our partners.

Core responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new application opportunities for our magnesium alloys, guiding them through the certification process for aircraft seats.
  • Represent our technical expertise by participating in customer design reviews throughout the new product introduction cycle.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across the entire supply chain, from seat manufacturers to airlines and regulatory bodies like the FAA and EASA.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in technical sales and business development. We are looking for someone who understands market penetration strategies and is comfortable navigating the complexities of regulatory compliance within the aerospace sector. You should have a proven ability in account management, specifically regarding consultative sales, and be proficient in English. A deep understanding of design processes and the ability to communicate market needs back to our manufacturing teams are essential for this position.
