The role
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, though we require candidates to be located within a 100-mile radius of Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will act as a primary driver of our growth by identifying, securing, and onboarding new retail partners. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality who is comfortable navigating a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Core responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective retail partners through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, and in-person visits.
- Present our unique value proposition and financing solutions to decision-makers to secure new partnerships.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to consistently meet and exceed our revenue targets.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within the fintech, retail, or B2B sectors.
- A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving measurable revenue growth.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A deep understanding of retail operations and financing, combined with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, paired with a lucrative commission structure. Our benefits package is designed to support your long-term well-being and includes:
