Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our presence in the clean battery storage market.
- Design and implement business development strategies that support our long-term growth objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and potential clients within the energy sector.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Work closely with our marketing, sales, and product teams to create tailored solutions that meet specific customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate our unique value proposition.
- Oversee your sales pipeline to ensure all opportunities are tracked and closed in a timely manner.
- Share insights regarding market dynamics, regulatory changes, and customer requirements with our internal teams to help shape future offerings.
- Keep a pulse on competitor activity to identify new areas for growth and differentiation.
- Represent Fluence at industry conferences and networking events to increase brand visibility.
- Ensure all activities remain in full compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, specifically within the French energy market.
- A proven history of successfully identifying, developing, and closing new business deals.
- Deep knowledge of the energy storage landscape and an existing network of industry relationships.
- Native or advanced proficiency in French and English.
- Strong business acumen combined with excellent project management and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within France or to our headquarters in Amsterdam.
