What is this role?
We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Leader to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity in Los Angeles. This is a senior-level position where you will take the lead in expanding our footprint across US Defense, Intelligence, and Civil agencies. You will be responsible for owning the entire sales cycle for our government space customers and playing a pivotal role in shaping our long-term government strategy.
What will you do?
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles for federal entities, guiding opportunities from initial outreach all the way to final contract execution.
- Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with vital government stakeholders, including program managers, acquisition officers, and various industry partners.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to lead the development of high-impact proposals for government opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup atmosphere. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- More than 10 years of experience in business development within the US government, specifically focused on the space and defense sectors.
- A deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, including FAR/DFAR regulations and general government contracting.
- A strong technical background that allows you to clearly articulate complex solutions, paired with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- The ability to maintain or obtain a TS/SCI clearance and a willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Fluency in English is required for all communications.
