Role at a glance

We are looking for a Lead Business Development professional to join us in a full-time capacity. This is an on-site role based in Los Angeles, where you will take charge of our growth strategy across US Defense, Intelligence, and Civil agencies.

Your impact

  • Manage the entire sales cycle for US government space customers, taking deals from initial outreach to final contract execution.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key government stakeholders, including program managers and acquisition officers.
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to lead the development of compelling proposals for government opportunities.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the space and defense sectors. We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in US Government business development, specifically within space and defense.
  • Strong expertise in federal acquisition processes, including FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • A proven history of closing complex technical sales and navigating enterprise sales cycles.
  • The ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup setting.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The ability to maintain or obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • A willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
