The role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Engineer to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a hybrid role based in the Netherlands where you will act as the vital link between business strategy and technical execution. You will primarily support the Lifetime administration team within the ART Pensions Employer, helping to translate complex business needs into tangible, measurable outcomes.

Core responsibilities

• Translate business strategies into concrete change initiatives while supporting Product and Business Owners in defining and monitoring project scope.
• Design effective solutions and provide the necessary technical expertise to guide multidisciplinary teams through the implementation process.
• Manage dependencies across various teams and ensure that the benefits of each initiative are accurately measured and realized.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of technical acumen and strategic vision. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience within the pension sector, supported by an HBO level of education.
• Deep knowledge of pension products and processes, with a preference for experience using systems like Lifetime.
• Proficiency in SAFe and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A high level of analytical and problem-solving ability, with a talent for data-driven decision-making.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.

Compensation and benefits

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 59400 to 79200 EUR on an annual basis, depending on your experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a holiday allowance and a thirteenth month. We also provide the following benefits:
