The opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Director to take a central role in our growth strategy. In this full-time, remote position, you will be the driving force behind selling our comprehensive suite of CRO services. This is a vital role for someone who understands the complexities of the life-sciences industry and wants to make a tangible impact by connecting our expertise with the needs of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from finding new leads to nurturing long-term partnerships.
A day in the life
- You will identify and pursue new business opportunities while assessing potential leads to expand our client base.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring you have regular face time to understand their unique business challenges.
- You will craft actionable account plans and work to exceed revenue targets, while also helping us refine our overall business development approach to increase efficiency.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in sales and account management within the clinical research space. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications to our team:
- At least 6 years of experience in sales and account management, with mandatory prior experience selling full-service CRO solutions.
- An established network of decision-makers in the life-sciences industry and the ability to present effectively to C-level stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven history of closing complex business deals.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- A BA, MBA, or equivalent professional experience.
- A deadline-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
