About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This senior-level role is responsible for the expansion of Cerba Xpert within the US market. You will act as the primary owner of our business development strategy, focusing on securing strategic diagnostic partnerships and positioning our scientific, regulatory, and operational capabilities as a premier value proposition for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value agreements with diagnostic and IVD organizations.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations, including contract structuring and pricing strategies, to ensure long-term profitability.
- Collaborate across internal departments, including scientific affairs, regulatory, and operations, to deliver tailored solutions and champion our service offerings to prospective partners.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, with an advanced degree being highly preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in commercial leadership, sales, or business development within the IVD, diagnostics, or clinical research sectors.
- A deep understanding of the IVD development lifecycle, including assay validation and regulatory pathways such as FDA 510(k) and IVD-R.
- Proven success in managing complex, high-value deals and the ability to engage effectively with executive, scientific, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere within the United States.
