We are looking for a dedicated Business Continuity Coordinator to join our specialist team at ION. Since our founding in 1999, we have grown into a global leader in trading and workflow automation software, serving over 2,000 major corporations and 800 of the world’s leading banks. With 13,000 employees across more than 40 cities, we provide the critical infrastructure that keeps global financial markets moving. In this role, you will be a key part of our Operational Resilience function, helping us design the management structure for our business resilience and implementing our continuity planning program across ION Markets.
What you'll be doing
- You will take a leading role in managing and developing our business continuity framework, including the implementation of business impact assessments and the creation of comprehensive continuity plans for our critical business services.
- You will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders to monitor our planning processes, ensuring they remain aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices while using our internal tools like Fusion RM.
- You will contribute to our broader crisis management and resilience strategy by conducting plan exercises, performing gap analyses, and identifying potential strategic risks to help protect our reputation and operational stability.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in business continuity within a large, multi-national environment, ideally supported by experience in the financial services sector. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing business continuity programs at a tactical level, specifically with the Fusion RM platform and its associated analytics tools.
- Deep knowledge of European and UK operational resilience regulations, such as DORA and CP26/23, and experience navigating the requirements for critical third parties.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, allowing you to influence and guide senior global leaders effectively, even during high-pressure situations.
- A proven track record of managing end-to-end business impact analysis, mapping critical services, and handling confidential information with high integrity.
- Fluency in English, as you will be interacting with teams and stakeholders across various international territories.
What you'll get
Joining ION means becoming part of a diverse and visionary team that values different perspectives and backgrounds. While this is an on-site position based in the United Kingdom, you will benefit from:
- The opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial technology products that serve a global client base of over 40,000 customers.
- A career experience within a rapidly expanding, dynamic organization that prioritizes a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Exposure to complex, high-stakes operational challenges that will allow you to grow your expertise in resilience and strategic risk management.
