Role at a glance
We are seeking a Business Application Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This is a full-time, mid-level position based on-site in Colombia. You will play a vital role in ensuring our software applications run smoothly, directly supporting our business operations and empowering our users to be as productive as possible.
Your impact
- Act as the frontline support for software applications by diagnosing and resolving technical issues for our end-users.
- Manage and track incidents through our ticketing system to ensure we maintain clear communication and timely resolutions.
- Proactively monitor system health and application performance to identify and fix potential bottlenecks before they affect the team.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in technical or application support roles.
- Strong proficiency in enterprise software, account management, and IT service management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, paired with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly in English.
- A meticulous eye for detail when creating documentation and standard operating procedures.
- A collaborative mindset and the flexibility to adapt to new technologies and shifting business priorities.
- Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, are considered a significant advantage.
