What is this role?

We are searching for a hands-on Business Application Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a management-level position based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where you will lead the optimization of our business technology stack. You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems support our organizational goals through a mix of strategic oversight and direct technical involvement. Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in our office from Monday through Wednesday, with the flexibility to telework on Thursdays and Fridays.

What will you do?

• Take ownership of our business application stack, specifically focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365, WMS, and other core systems, while providing hands-on troubleshooting and configuration support.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement system enhancements that drive productivity.
• Lead system improvement and integration projects from start to finish, managing external vendor relationships and ensuring that all deliverables meet our business needs on time and within budget.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience managing business applications and a strong technical background. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and has a solid understanding of WMS or similar enterprise systems. You should be a proactive problem solver who can communicate complex technical information to both leadership and non-technical team members. Proficiency in Power BI is highly valued, as is a background in the food distribution or supply chain industry. You must be fluent in English and possess the organizational skills to manage multiple projects while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
