The role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a mid-level position based in Canada. You will work in a hybrid capacity, helping us guide product development from the initial concept all the way to launch while working alongside technical leads, delivery managers, and our business partners.

Core responsibilities

• Meet with clients to uncover their business needs, document those requirements, and translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Manage the product backlog by prioritizing requirements and writing high-quality user stories that keep the development team moving forward.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain strong relationships with both your project team and our clients to ensure everyone shares a clear understanding of the project goals and delivery realities.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid grasp of technology and a passion for Agile software development. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional business analysis experience.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, partner with stakeholders, and deliver effective presentations.
• Strong skills in facilitation, project planning, organization, and creative problem solving.
• The ability to synthesize diverse business requirements into practical, common-sense solutions.
• Fluency in English.
