Role at a glance

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Applications Support and Development team in our New York office. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for a mid-level professional who is eager to bridge the gap between our business units and IT departments. Your impact

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and our development team to translate complex needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and document functional and non-functional specifications to ensure high-quality technical solutions.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and provide ongoing support to ensure our applications meet the evolving needs of our clients and internal partners.

What you'll need

• Two to four years of experience in a business analyst role, specifically within the insurance industry.
• At least one year of hands-on experience with insurance functions such as claims, underwriting, or agency accounting.
• Proven experience with ISO GL admitted business, including rating, forms, and reporting.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or information systems, with an MBA being a significant plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong aptitude for technology and a collaborative mindset.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are highly preferred.
