We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. Key outcomes
- Design, configure, and implement Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Gather functional requirements, map process workflows, and manage the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions.
- Collaborate with functional leaders, technical partners, and vendors to ensure project alignment and clear communication.
- Analyze complex data sets, including liquid fermentation, gene editing, and in-process test results.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct user acceptance, regression, and performance testing.
- Provide ongoing system support, troubleshoot operational issues, and serve as a subject matter expert for key software applications.
- Create training documentation and facilitate user training sessions to ensure effective system adoption.
- Travel up to 25% of the time to support our manufacturing plants and colocation facilities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience configuring and supporting LIMS and MES systems within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- A strong background in biostatistics and the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Perl, Python, Java, and C++.
- Familiarity with machine learning, information theory, and signal processing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including MS SQL Server, .NET, and Power BI.
- Experience integrating third-party applications via REST or XML API endpoints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in computational genomics and evolutionary biology.
Compensation
The targeted base pay for this role is $125,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation is determined based on individual skills, experience, and business needs. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
