We are currently looking for a seasoned Business Analyst II to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis to help us continue this mission.
Key outcomes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to capture and document comprehensive business requirements.
- Author precise functional specifications, requirement documentation, and user interface guides.
- Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and our development and QA teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Conduct thorough gap analysis to compare client needs against existing product features.
- Support the quality assurance process by reviewing test cases and participating in acceptance and random software testing.
- Manage the lifecycle of software issues, ensuring they are tracked, reported, and resolved promptly.
- Facilitate user training sessions to ensure product functionality is well understood.
- Collaborate with project management to document change requests and maintain delivery timelines.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
- Eight to ten years of professional experience in the software industry, specifically serving as a business analyst within the insurance domain.
- Proven ability to elicit requirements through workshops, JAD sessions, and detailed analysis.
- Expertise in translating high-level concepts into detailed specifications, including business process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and use cases.
- Strong proficiency in technical documentation and the ability to reconcile conflicting information from multiple sources.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with executives, subject matter experts, and diverse client groups.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the organizational skills necessary to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English.
