What you bring

As a Lead Business Analyst for Credit and Trading, you will play a pivotal role in our expansion by bridging the gap between our advanced R&D and our enterprise clients. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Canada where you will manage the lifecycle of strategic projects. Your expertise in Product, Analytics, and Agile methodologies will be essential as you navigate the complexities of capital markets and automation. Your core responsibilities include:

• Translating complex business needs into detailed functional requirements while managing project roadmaps and delivery timelines in weekly sprints.
• Collaborating closely with our Product, Technology, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure our AI analytics successfully solve client pain points.
• Leading the Agile process via Jira, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and identifying project risks to ensure seamless delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a blend of technical proficiency and strategic vision. You should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration, supported by at least 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of fixed income corporate bond trading and familiarity with capital markets applications. You must be an excellent communicator who can articulate project logic to senior stakeholders, and you should possess a natural curiosity that drives you to overcome obstacles. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail is paramount.
