Since then, we have grown into a global community where over 4 million hosts have facilitated more than 1 billion guest arrivals. Our mission is to help people connect with communities in an authentic way through unique stays and experiences. We are looking for mission-driven individuals to help us continue building this platform and stewarding our visual brand.
The role
We are searching for an exceptional Business Affairs Lead to join our internal creative team. This is a full-time, executive-level position that operates on a remote basis. You will play a vital role in our creative department, which spans design, photography, video, and social media, as we work to foster meaningful engagement with our global community.
Core responsibilities
- Apply strategic thinking to navigate compliance and risk management during production, ensuring we find creative alternatives that maintain the integrity of our original ideas.
- Lead negotiations and deal drafting for third parties, including talent, music, and production suppliers, while managing complex work streams with precision.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Creative to drive positive outcomes and streamline our business affairs processes.
Skills and experience
We are looking for a candidate who brings a blend of production knowledge, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Your background should include:
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or production counseling, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience at a global company.
- Expertise in both union and non-union productions, including branded partnerships and social media landscapes.
- A strong understanding of music licensing and established relationships with rights holders.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and deliver strategic advice in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and a high level of integrity, curiosity, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools like Airtable for data management is considered a plus.
Compensation and benefits
The base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $192,000 USD. Actual compensation is determined by factors such as your specific experience, training, and market demands. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and company benefits, including Employee Travel Credits. We also offer the flexibility of remote work.
