The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Build & Release Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is a vital bridge between our infrastructure, release automation, and the daily experience of our developers. You will take ownership of the systems that power how we build, test, and release software across our web, mobile, and backend services. By designing reliable and scalable pipelines, you will help our engineering teams ship features with speed and confidence, all while integrating AI-driven innovation to optimize our workflows.
A day in the life
- Design and evolve automated build, packaging, and release workflows across our entire platform to ensure consistent and reliable delivery.
- Optimize our CI/CD infrastructure using modern tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Docker, and Kubernetes, while implementing infrastructure as code via Terraform.
- Develop AI-assisted tools and agents to automate release validation, identify pipeline bottlenecks, and support developer self-service workflows.
Who you are
You are an experienced engineer who thrives at the intersection of DevOps and platform reliability. You bring at least 3 years of experience in build and release engineering, and you are comfortable working in a remote environment. Your background includes:
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD systems and cloud platforms, with a preference for GCP.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Go or Python.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for improving developer productivity through automation and observability.
- Fluency in English.
Why you'll love it here
We believe in supporting our team members both inside and outside of the office. For our Canadian applicants, the base salary range for this position is $106,000 to $117,800 CAD. Beyond your compensation, you will enjoy a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to help you thrive:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Stock options to share in our company's success.
- Unlimited vacation time to ensure you can recharge when you need it.
- Flexible working hours and a remote-first environment.
- Dedicated professional development and mentorship opportunities to help you grow your career.
