We are looking for a talented Senior Build Engineer to join our fully distributed team and help us refine the technical backbone of our game development process.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability of our systems while supporting our developers in delivering high-quality experiences.
Your impact
- Take full ownership of our TeamCity CI/CD pipelines to ensure our build systems run smoothly and efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team, providing expert support to troubleshoot and resolve build-related hurdles.
- Partner with our developers to innovate and optimize our deployment processes, keeping our workflows at the cutting edge of the industry.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a deep understanding of modern game development pipelines. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience with CI/CD platforms like TeamCity, Jenkins, or Horde.
- A strong command of Unreal Engine build processes, with specific knowledge of BuildGraph.
- Proficiency in Python scripting to automate and improve our workflows.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Perforce and experience with current-gen console SDKs.
- The ability to thrive and communicate effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
- Fluency in English.
Bonus points if you have shipped a game in Unreal Engine, have experience in live game development, or have worked with monitoring tools like Sentry and Datadog.
