We are looking for a dedicated Brand Manager to join our team at Downeast Cider. Since our early days fermenting cider in a college dorm, we have grown into a founder-owned company that values hard work, authenticity, and a collaborative spirit. In this role, you will help drive the profitable growth of our brand through strategic marketing, innovation, and consumer-focused communication initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage our innovation pipeline by analyzing market trends and competitive category data.
- Oversee the product portfolio mix to ensure we are meeting consumer needs while maintaining profitability.
- Lead projects from development through launch, ensuring every initiative stays on schedule and within budget.
- Set pricing strategies for new items and monitor the competitive landscape to ensure our portfolio remains well-positioned.
- Create and execute advertising and promotional plans that build brand equity, awareness, and trial.
- Manage consumer research efforts, including concept and message testing, to gather actionable insights.
- Prepare annual brand plans and manage the associated budgets to hit our sales and profit goals.
Must-haves
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in brand management.
- Strong proficiency with market data tools such as Nielsen, Circana, and Numerator.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including being on-site in East Boston once per week.
