Geotechnology, a Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) company, is seeking a Branch Manager for our Midwest region. Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with our clients.
- Provide technical counsel on project organization, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Oversee branch staffing and actively motivate your team to foster professional growth.
- Represent the company at technical meetings, conferences, and contract negotiations.
- Sign off on proposals, reports, and standard contract terms while ensuring all work meets professional standards of care.
- Collaborate with group managers to define branch strategy and ensure adherence to financial goals.
- Supervise staff development programs and conduct performance evaluations for your team.
- Identify new markets and services to expand our regional presence.
Must-haves
- At least 10 years of experience in applied engineering or physical sciences, including five years in a supervisory or project management capacity.
- Strong background in either environmental services consulting or geotechnical engineering.
- Proven ability to plan, delegate, and coordinate multi-disciplinary professional teams.
- Expertise in cost control techniques and project scheduling.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Active involvement in civic or professional organizations.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or physical sciences is preferred.
