fairlife, LLC is a Chicago-based nutrition company and a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, known for producing high-quality, lactose-free dairy products like fairlife ultra-filtered milk and Core Power protein shakes. We are currently building a state-of-the-art, 750,000 square foot facility in Webster, New York, and we are looking for a Blowmold SME to lead the reliability and operational expertise of our blowmolding systems as we prepare for production in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all blowmolding equipment, defining operational standards and maintenance protocols.
- Optimize machine performance by implementing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs and maintenance guidelines, to drive operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across teams, including operators, technicians, and vendors, to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth production.
- Manage equipment lifecycles, OEE tracking, spare parts inventory, and major rebuilds or upgrades.
- Utilize data analysis to identify the root causes of equipment failures and implement data-driven improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to minimize waste and enhance overall operational excellence.
Must-haves
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Consumer Packaging Goods, with a focus on blowmolding equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot at least 90% of technical issues independently.
- Proven experience with Krones packaging equipment, including both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in updating mechanical and electrical prints, including P&IDs.
- Expertise in leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other reliability initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work all shifts as needed and handle the physical requirements of the role, including lifting 40 lbs and working at heights.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with automation systems.
- Background in aseptic or dairy manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and USDA regulations regarding dairy manufacturing.
