Role at a glance

We are seeking a Blockchain ZK Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who thrives in a remote environment. You will be working from anywhere in the world to help us push the boundaries of verifiable computation and cross-chain communication.

Your impact

• You will architect and implement extensions for the Sygma interoperability protocol to ensure robust and efficient cross-chain functionality.
• You will collaborate with our research team to explore edge blockchain technologies, turning novel ideas into functional proofs of concept.
• You will take a lead role in design decisions to build trust-minimized bridges that support consensus verification across diverse networks like Ethereum and Bitcoin.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of total experience as a software engineer, with 2 or more years specifically focused on blockchain technologies.
• Practical experience designing and writing zkSNARK circuits using tools such as Halo2, Plonky2, Arkworks, or Circom.
• Strong proficiency with the EVM and a solid foundation in building distributed systems.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working with Rust or similar programming languages.
• A curious, hacking mindset that allows you to dive into complex codebases, debug effectively, and share your findings with the wider team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
