About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Rust Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be at the heart of our technical operations, reporting directly to our Head of Blockchain and our Chief Technology Officer. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the architecture and security of our protocol as we continue to expand our metaverse.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and audit Solana protocol upgrades while taking the lead on system architecture and feature development.
- Develop high-quality, reliable software that integrates directly with the Solana ecosystem, including work on wallets, decentralized exchanges, and NFT functionality.
- Establish and maintain rigorous code quality standards and automated testing procedures to ensure the security and maintainability of our smart contracts.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should have a deep technical background and a passion for decentralized technology. We require the following qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Rust and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with the Anchor Framework and @solana/web3.js.
- Familiarity with the broader Solana ecosystem, including projects like Serum, Solart, Orca, and Raydium.
- A strong grasp of smart contract security, tokenomics, and governance design.
- Experience using Git for version control and a commitment to clean, pragmatic engineering practices.
- An innate curiosity and a self-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment.
