Job Description:
We are seeking a Blockchain Product Manager to join our Product & Research team and play a pivotal role in the research, design, and development of new products and features for Paradex - a derivatives DEX powered by Starknet ZK-Rollup technology. You will research the most cutting edge blockchain tech, define potential use cases, and lead the development and implementation of such use cases as part of a coherent product roadmap. This is an exciting opportunity to dive into the heart of one of the most promising DeFi projects and work on challenging problems at the intersection between finance, blockchain and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the engineering team and with the Starknet team to drive Paradex blockchain initiatives. Some examples of projects are :
- Work with the blockchain engineers to develop creative solutions and design gas-efficient smart contract code to support the increasing system complexity (expanding the list of markets, options, portfolio margining, multi-collateral)
- Design a robust Escape Hatch solution for Paradex develop a robust escape hatch mechanism that ensures the safety of users' funds in emergency scenarios
- Driving gas cost optimization initiatives and monitoring/modeling gas costs
- Design a mechanism for L2 data encryption to ensure traders’ data privacy
- Using proofs to verify complex off-chain calculations - For example instruments pricing and order matching
- Lead blockchain engineering discussions and make technology decisions related to product strategy and features.
- Will write blog posts and whitepapers to develop awareness of our cutting edge products, tech stack and market
Requirements:
- MSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent field.
- Experience working with complex software systems and with algorithms
- Articulating the overall vision and breaking it down into clear products and features
- Introducing complex ideas in an approachable manner
- Demonstrating leadership capabilities and high communication skills
