Monad Labs is a technology startup founded by Jump Trading alumni that is building an ultra-high-performance smart contract platform. We utilize low-latency programming, compiler optimization, and multithreaded computing to create an optimal stack-based virtual machine and an efficient Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus algorithm. Having recently secured 225 million USD in Series A funding, we are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our core team and help bring the Monad blockchain to production.
Responsibilities
- Integrate the Monad blockchain with external ecosystems, including JSON-RPC, indexers, and wallets.
- Develop connections for bridges, storage solutions, analytics platforms, and various decentralized applications.
- Participate in high-level technical discussions, code reviews, and documentation processes.
- Apply a rigorous development mindset to solve complex engineering problems with practicality and common sense.
- Contribute to system design, focusing on maintainability and appropriate abstractions.
Must-haves
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Prior experience working on Layer-1, Layer-2, or blockchain infrastructure projects such as oracles, bridges, or RPC providers.
- Strong backend engineering background using low-level languages like C++ or Rust.
- A proven track record of building significant projects from the ground up.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Fluency in English.
