Equilibrium Labs is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our talent network as a contractor. We specialize in building core infrastructure for the decentralized web, focusing on complex engineering challenges related to security, privacy, and scalability while partnering with industry leaders like Aleo, Starknet, Solana, and Avail.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core blockchain infrastructure.
- Collaborate with our core team on high-impact projects for leading blockchain protocols.
- Apply your expertise in cryptography and zero-knowledge proofs to solve difficult technical problems.
- Work independently and reliably within a self-organizing team structure.
- Communicate clearly in English to coordinate project deliverables.
Must-haves
- Proven experience in blockchain infrastructure development.
- Proficiency in Rust, Go, TypeScript, Solidity, Move, and Cairo.
- Deep understanding of cryptography and zero-knowledge proof systems.
- Experience working with ecosystems such as Polkadot, Ethereum, Cosmos, Solana, StarkNet, or zkSync.
- A track record of shipping projects or contributing to open-source software.
- Ability to invoice as a freelancer or through your own company.
- Capacity to work remotely with reasonable timezone overlap with Europe.
