The role

We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote role open to candidates located anywhere, though our team is primarily based in Europe. You will be joining a highly skilled group of engineers responsible for the Argent Accounts, which currently safeguard over 1 billion dollars in assets on Starknet. This is an ideal position for a seasoned developer who wants to push the boundaries of account abstraction and contribute to the next generation of blockchain technology.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure smart contracts on Starknet using Cairo.
• Conduct rigorous peer reviews and implement comprehensive testing and fuzzing strategies to ensure the highest safety standards for our users.
• Collaborate with founders at Hito Studios to build and iterate on MVPs for transformative products within the Starknet ecosystem.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for decentralized systems. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Proven expertise in building smart contracts, either on EVM chains or specifically on Starknet.
• A comprehensive understanding of blockchain architecture and fundamental cryptography principles.
• Proficiency in Cairo or strong experience with Solidity.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Rust is considered a significant asset.
