The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our expert team. You will play a vital role in developing Argent Accounts, which currently safeguard over 1 billion USD on Starknet. Our team is leading the way in the Starknet ecosystem, focusing on building secure accounts with advanced smart contract features, such as recovery mechanisms for lost keys. This is a unique chance to work on native account abstraction and contribute to the future of decentralized finance.

A day in the life

• Push the boundaries of native account abstraction by writing Cairo contracts and developing innovative smart contract features.
• Conduct rigorous peer reviews and strengthen our safety net through comprehensive testing, fuzzing, and other advanced development tools.
• Collaborate directly with the founders at Hito Studios to build and iterate on MVPs for transformative products within the Starknet ecosystem.

Who you are

You are a seasoned software engineer with at least five years of experience who thrives in a collaborative, technical environment. You possess a deep understanding of blockchain architecture and are comfortable navigating complex cryptographic principles. While our primary focus is Starknet, we welcome applicants with significant experience in EVM chains, as the foundational principles are highly transferable.

Your background should include:

• Proven expertise in building smart contracts on Starknet or EVM-based chains.
• Proficiency in the Cairo language or strong experience with Solidity.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for building secure, user-focused blockchain technology.
• Bonus points if you have experience with TypeScript, Rust, or have explored other facets of the blockchain stack like frontend, backend, or MEV.
• Fluency in English to ensure effective communication within our distributed team.
