With a growing team of over 80 professionals across New York, London, Paris, and Singapore, we are dedicated to building the infrastructure that supports the digital finance economy. We value diversity and international representation, believing that our collective success is built upon the unique perspectives of our team members.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of our core systems, working at the intersection of protocol design, smart contract development, and system security. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of projects from concept to production.
Core responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data extraction pipelines across a variety of EVM and non-EVM blockchains.
- Develop, deploy, and manage smart contracts on Ethereum and other relevant blockchain networks.
- Abstract the complexities of low-level smart contract interactions by building efficient scripting solutions and REST APIs.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on blockchain technology. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in smart contract languages such as Solidity or Vyper.
- Strong backend development skills using Go, along with a solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Practical experience deploying and managing applications within Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms, the EVM, and gas optimization.
- Experience with Web3 libraries and development tools like Hardhat, Foundry, or ethers.js.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a supportive and flexible work environment designed to help you thrive both professionally and personally. Our benefits include:
- Full remote work flexibility.
- Paid time off and competitive holiday packages.
- A contribution toward your monthly gym membership.
- Opportunities to connect with the team through company retreats and local events.
How to apply
If you are excited about building the future of digital finance with us, we would love to hear from you. Our hiring process begins with a brief call with our People team, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager. Candidates will then complete a technical test or business case, participate in cross-team interviews, and finish with a final conversation with our CPTO before we move to the offer and reference check stage. We encourage applications from all qualified individuals who are ready to contribute their unique experience to our mission.
