As a chartered bank, we provide comprehensive money market, custody, and banking services to our business clients. Our team consists of industry veterans who combine deep expertise in the Bitcoin ecosystem with a wealth of experience in traditional financial services. We are currently seeking a Senior Bitcoin Software Engineer to join our remote team and help us construct a modern, responsive banking platform from the ground up.

Key outcomes

• Design, extend, and maintain our core Bitcoin block processor.
• Manage deposit and withdrawal workflows for our custody product.
• Configure and test Bitcoin nodes to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate our backend systems securely with the Bitcoin blockchain.
• Develop and manage our fee systems and UTXO workflows.

Requirements

• A genuine passion for the Bitcoin ecosystem and its associated software.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• A strong commitment to maintaining high standards through unit and end-to-end testing.
• A collaborative mindset that prioritizes teamwork in the software development process.
• Professional experience working in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with Python and the Django REST framework.
• A history of open source contributions to Bitcoin-related projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization software.
• Knowledge of stablecoins, smart contracts, or other cryptocurrency technologies.
• Comfort with video-based collaboration during team meetings.

Compensation

We offer a salary of 180,000 USD. In addition to this, our benefits package includes 100% remote work flexibility, medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance.
