The Bike Technician Marketing Support plays a crucial role in bringing Cannondale’s motto, "Come Ride with Us," to life. This role involves managing and maintaining a large fleet of bikes, serving as the marketing liaison with the local sales team, and creating memorable ride experiences at events around North Europe.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Manage the North Europe bike fleet, including unboxing, assembling, washing, and packing all demo bikes.
- Serve as the administrative lead for bike tracking, supporting the ordering process, tracking shipments, updating the bike tracker, and organizing demo bike sell-offs with the sales team.
- Follow workshop guidelines and brand protocols for preparing media bikes.
- Coordinate shipping logistics for go-to-market bikes.
- Coordinate event activations across the North European region.
- Act as a brand representative at events, providing in-depth information about the brand and products.
- Provide on-site mechanical support during various events, including rider-facing, B2B, and media events.
- Collaborate with the Hospitality Manager to support campus events and retailer visits.
- Provide a premium ride experience for campus guests.
- Support the Cannondale Ambassador program and act as a marketing liaison to the local sales team, while assisting with additional marketing activations, following company policies, and contributing to other projects as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Proven experience in bike mechanics, with a strong focus on high-end bicycles.
- University or College degree in marketing, communications or related field.
- Strong organization and communication skills in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
- High energy and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional rider experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of cycling industry.
- Must be able to travel to multiple events internationally throughout the year.
- Active driver’s license required.
