We are currently looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At Kontakt.io, we lead the way in location IoT by simplifying how sensor data insights are delivered. We provide a robust data foundation that helps our clients across healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics automate decision-making and improve operational efficiency. With over 2,000 customers worldwide relying on our hardware, software, and cloud solutions, we are committed to making complex processes simple and effective. This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, high-performance data pipelines to handle the ingestion, transformation, and storage of massive data volumes.
- Manage and refine ETL processes to guarantee that our data remains consistent and of the highest quality.
- Improve our data storage and retrieval systems to ensure they are both cost-effective and highly responsive.
Requirements
We are searching for a dedicated engineer who thrives on technical challenges and is eager to explore new solutions. You should have a strong background in Big Data engineering and a deep understanding of data processing and storage architectures.
