Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer IV to join our core data development team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a pivotal role in our agile development process, contributing to the architecture and delivery of features for our enterprise platform. This is a high-impact position where your expertise will directly influence how we process billions of daily requests, and you will work alongside a team where half of our members are senior developers.
Your impact
- Design and build robust, large-scale data processing systems that handle massive volumes of information.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to define requirements and take full ownership of projects from inception to deployment.
- Analyze and optimize our applications to ensure maximum efficiency, scalability, and long-term stability.
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of professional experience in Java, Scala, or Python development.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Big Data systems.
- Expertise in building complex data pipelines using tools like dbt or Dataform and SQL.
- Strong proficiency with BigQuery or similar data warehouses, including performance tuning and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Cloud proficiency with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Fluency in both English and Polish.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, or a related field.

We offer a competitive compensation package tailored to your preferred working arrangement. You can choose an employment contract with a salary range of 22,100 - 26,000 PLN gross/monthly or a B2B contract ranging from 180 - 207 PLN net/hourly.
